Peer Edit:

peer review-

Learning outcome #4 explains my growth in peer review work over the year. I chose this peer review (input link) from November 15th. When I first began peer review, I was more concerned on how not to hurt my peer’s personal emotions by editing too harshly and not being thorough enough. Over the process I quickly got over the concern of being too harsh, peer review is only to benefit them. Honesty and the clearest peer review I can produce is what they’re looking for. The peer-review I have included shows my thoroughness in both the local and global peer-review aspects. I use many of my active reading skills when I peer-edit, I come at it like a random reader would. If it doesn’t make sense I ask for clarification, I ask “why is this? Why do you think this? Why is this important?” The earliest example of this can be seen in the fourth peer review comment of this essay as well as all throughout it. I feel that my review of my peer’s essay really hit the important revision points.
